Nicaragua yoga adventure 14th - 23rd March 2024

Escape the winter in the northern hemisphere and come on an adventure to Nicaragua and explore volcanoes, cloud forests, Spanish colonial cities and pristine empty beaches, with daily yoga, delicious food and beautiful accommodation, of course!

14th March 2024

Join us on this incredible yoga holiday in Nicaragua to start your year with a real adventure.

Nicaragua is a fascinating and truly beautiful country that has so much to offer. From cloud forests and volcanoes to beautiful cities and paradise beaches, it’s a country we fell in love with and are sure you will too.

Our Nicaragua yoga holiday will be based in two locations so that you get the chance to experience the diversity and contrasts on offer. We have created the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation into a truly authentic experience.

You will begin with 3 nights at an enchanting 3 star eco-hotel, directly on the banks of the Laguna de Apoyo. An extinct volcanic crater, the waters are known for their healing properties and what could be the most magical sunrise swim you will ever have. From here you will journey to active volcanoes at sunset to watch the bubbling lava, explore the stunning city of Granada and have the option to hike into the cloud forests of Mombacho Nature Reserve. Or of course, you could just indulge in the paradise of the Laguna in a hammock and watch the birds.

From there, you will journey to the Pacific Coast for 6 nights at an exclusive beachfront location. This remote and idyllic place will give you all the time you need to relax, unwind and allow the sound of the waves to work their magic. Swim in natural rock pools, learn to surf, enjoy the pool and swim up bar and explore the tiny fishing town and local restaurants.

Nicaragua is a beautiful country waiting to be explored. Find out more about this country in our blog here.

About the yoga

Our yoga classes will be all about embracing the stunning environment we are in. In Laguna de Apoyo, our yoga deck is nestled into the shade of trees with views out across the water. Once we are on the coast, yoga will be in a shady wooden 900m squared yoga platform looking out to the pacific ocean.

Our morning classes will be a more dynamic style, blending hatha, vinyasa, and a variety of movement styles. In the evenings, we re-ground and relax after our day’s adventures with yin, restorative, and meditation.

You will need to bring a yoga mat with you for this yoga holiday.
