August Bank Holiday Weekend Brecon Beacons, Wales 2024
Time to explore the stunning countryside of the Brecon beacons National Park and relax with yoga!
We are excited to say we are back this August bank holiday for our hiking and yoga retreats in the Brecon Beacons.
This August, join us for a 3 nights hiking yoga retreat over the August Bank Holiday weekend from Friday to August Bank holiday Monday. Stay in a family-owned multi-property estate that dates back to 1176, it was initially a farm serving the local monastery. Since then, it has had stunning renovations to create a beautiful retreat space.
Why not stay in one of the main barns? Or maybe, try out a quirky converted wheat silo? Either way, you will enjoy lots of space and room options.
Of course, get your hiking boots ready to enjoy a guided hike with qualified guides on Saturday and then enjoy relaxing or walking into Hay-on-Wye or try canoeing down the river Wye or horse riding on Sunday.
Want to fully relax? Relax in the beautiful grounds and read a good book, or journal, or enjoy a massage from our talented team. This escape will leave you feeling energised and revitalised.
With up to 3.5 hours of yoga a day, delicious vegan food from one of our fabulous chefs and gorgeous accommodation you will feel cared for throughout.

Our Yoga Teachers
Over the 17 years that AY has been organising our bespoke retreats, we have always made sure that we work with exceptional yoga teachers who are dedicated to their practice and live and breathe yoga, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that you will be inspired, relaxed and tensions dissolved by the end of your retreat with us.
About the yoga
On our August hiking yoga retreat in the Brecon Beacons, the classes are suitable for all abilities. From beginners to intermediate and advanced levels, everyone is welcome. Furthermore, our inspiring and experienced teachers are well-practised at adapting the class to everyone’s level.
The yoga teacher will create a more dynamic class in the morning to get you ready for the day’s hike and adventures. Then, the evening class will be slightly longer to enable deep relaxation with yoga Nidra.
