Becky Cartledge
Becky loves offering classes that encourage people to slow down and soften. Her language inspires you to become curious about movement and how it makes you feel so that you discover ways to move with ease. She is drawn to nature and the seasons, threading this through her classes. She hopes every guest leaves feeling connected to themselves, calmer and more grounded.
Movement has always been central to Becky’s own well being and career, she loves chatting about all things outdoors as well as exercise, energy and well being. Becky is a Strala Yoga Guide, reiki practioner and has a background in Pilates and fitness. She has been creating classes for 25 years and loves face to face community.
What to expect on retreat with Becky:
On retreat, in the morning, she guides energising Strala yoga with natural movement. Then, in the evening she guides a gentle class with a mix of movement and meditation to gently calm and restore.
Why she teaches for AY:
Becky is always delighted to host Adventure Yogi retreats because they are a place to combine all her passions in life; being outdoors, movement, community, quiet, yoga and adventure, with a way to help people pause, slow down, listen in and form friendship. She hopes you will leave with an imaginary basket of everyday adventure and movement that you can use in your everyday alongside a sense of deep rest and connection back to you and nature.

Qualifications:
Strala Yoga Guide 200hrs
Reiki Practitioner level 2
Pilates certified with Michael King and the Pilates Institute
Personal Trainer level 3
BA hons Sport Studies
Additional retreat offerings:
Becky is also a certified Reiki Practioner. Reiki is an energy healing technique to promote relaxation and deep rest to support the body’s natural healing process (30 or 40 minute sessions).
