All our yoga retreats UK start from 4pm and end at 10am. Most have strict arrival and departure times so we ask you to please stick to these to ensure the smooth running of the retreat.
We have two yoga practices each day on our mid-week and weekend yoga retreats UK which differ in style. In the mornings, our yoga teachers lead a more dynamic and warming hatha and vinyasa flow with somatic practices. In the evening, we wind down with a restorative class based on yin, restorative yoga and yoga nidra.
Yes we do, in all our UK retreat locations apart from the Lake District, where we ask you to bring your own mat and equipment.
We welcome all ages on our yoga holidays UK, from 25 - 70! We get feedback from younger age groups telling us the photos on our website are of older people and question ‘is it right for me?’ and then we get the same from older age groups! We try to showcase that we welcome all ages on our UK yoga retreats and yoga breaks, but the main age group is usually 35+. We find that having a mix of ages on the retreats makes for an even more special community spirit - guests find they learn so much from sharing and hearing each others’ perspectives.
In a word, yes! We welcome all levels on our UK yoga breaks from beginners to trained yoga teachers. Our yoga teachers are very experienced in teaching all level classes and will offer a range of variations for those new to yoga or for those that like a little challenge.
Our yoga weekend retreats UK and mid-week yoga retreats UK include activities that are suitable for all levels. For our yoga and hiking retreats, we do ask that you have some hiking/walking experience. The sea swimming retreat in Cornwall is suitable for all levels, and our guests are mostly beginners to sea swimming.
