FAQ's for the Lake District

What is the accommodation?

It is a vegetarian/vegan B&B that has a selection of hotel style en-suite rooms in the main building and then in separate out buildings in the grounds.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

Yes, you do. As it is not a designated yoga venue they do not provide equipment. Please bring what you may need for your practice

How hard are the hikes?

The Lake District is a much more intermediate hiking area and so we suggest the hiking level being of intermediate level and good level of fitness.

Do I need hikings boot and gear?

Yes - hiking boots (that aren't new) are a must and also wet wand warm weather gear; waterproof trousers and jacket, a water bottle, hat, suncream, warm layers and smaller layers like a t-shirt so you can manage getting hotter as you go up and cooler as you go down. A backpack to put it all in.

How do I get there?

You can come by train to Lake Windermere train station - 4 hours from London and then a taxi which is about 20 minutes from the venue.
