She lives in Brighton with her family and shares her practice regularly alongside her therapy work. Her specialism is Womens health, embodied, mindful practice and restorative practices. She trains other teachers in Yoga Nidra and restorative yoga, is a working counsellor and yoga therapist and nature and sauna host.
What can you expect from Helen’s Classes?
You can expect Helen’s classes to be adaptive and responsive to the people in the room, the time of day and the season. She often blends complementary modalities to enrich the experience, weaving together shaking practices, functional movement, strength work, fascial release, sound, and Qi Gong, alongside more traditional yoga. Morning sessions tend to be energising and uplifting, while evenings are deeply restorative and grounding. Helen also offers additional seasonally inspired solo experiences—such as journalling prompts and nature connection practices—as well as one-to-one yoga therapy or counselling sessions for guests who want to explore more deeply during their retreat.
The atmosphere in her classes is friendly, warm, and welcoming, allowing participants to settle in comfortably and engage at a pace that feels authentic for them. Helen’s intention is not only to guide a practice but to hold a compassionate, supportive space where people can reconnect with themselves, explore their bodies with curiosity, and discover what they need in any given moment.
