7 Nights Walking Wellness Yoga Holiday in Corfu, Greece
Enjoy a 7 night walking, beach and yoga holiday in Corfu. You will be staying at an eco-conscious organic farm estate, a short walk from the beach in a peaceful area in the north-west of the Island. Immerse yourself in yoga twice a day, and stay active with coastal walks, sea swimming and free SUP hire - all whilst still leaving you time to relax by the pool and sunbathe.
Join us on our seven-night yoga walking and wellness holidays in Corfu, Greece. This beautiful Island has lush green hills and calm turquoise waters, unlike other Greek Islands that are more volcanic. Our yoga holiday in Corfu allows you to be as active or relaxed as you like. We offer a range of activities included in the price, but if you need a week of relaxation, this is your holiday, so do what you need to feel revitalised by the end of the week’s stay.
We enjoy our active wellness Corfu yoga holidays in the shoulder season, May, June, September, and October. It can be cooler during this time, so you can enjoy a more active break on a Greek Island, but it is still warm enough to lie by the pool or relax on the beach.
There is a lot to do on this Corfu yoga retreat, such as walking coastal paths with beautiful views of the sea and mountains in the distance, enjoying a bike ride, a SUP along the coastline, or a day trip to Timoni Bay and walking up to Afionas village. Relax at the beach or by the private pool on the rest days, and be more active on the cooler days or earlier mornings. Immerse yourself in yoga twice a day, creating space in your day to day to go home feeling reset. At any time of year, there is something to do for everyone, and we create a good balance of activity and relaxation so you can be as active or relaxed as you like.
The local beach is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride away, where you can relax under an umbrella or try SUP or kayaking.
When you arrive, enjoy an orientation walk of the local area with the venue owner and explore the grounds of an organic farm that grows specifically Kumquat and seasonal vegetables and olives. The week will follow with a cooking class with your chef for the week with locally grown vegetables, a trip to explore Corfu town, and an afternoon of exploring an old village called Afiona that takes you to the iconic bay of Porto Timoni where you will enjoy a short hike and swim in the infamous bay. Enjoy a hike along one of the coastal path trails in the cooler part of the day and try a SUP half-day excursion.
Our venue for 2024 is newly built and has been designed and built in an eco-conscious way, following the guidelines of Green Key, whose criteria ensure the highest sustainability standards within tourism. This is important to us here at AdventureYogi as we search for more venues like this. It is also an organic farm, and your food will be straight from the garden.
Enjoy yoga twice a day in the yoga shala, and the day is yours to do as you please.
We will return to this eco venue in May and October 2025 for an active hike, SUP, and cultural yoga holiday in Corfu.

Accommodation in Corfu
Your accommodation in Corfu is a newly built collection of apartments surrounding an outdoor swimming pool with a lawn area and shaded dining area. It has been lovingly built by a family who cares about the environment and has consciously wanted this property to work with the planet to protect her, working with Green Key to follow their guidelines for a sustainable property. Using materials that create better insulation in winter and cool rooms in summer to lessen the use of air conditioning systems amongst some of the actions they have taken.
It is also an organic Kumqaut farm that produces its own products from the fruit harvested and they are expanding their products to seasonal fruit and vegetables and olive trees.
Now onto the accommodation:
It consists of 5 apartments. There is one studio apartment with a single occupancy bedroom, a living/dining area and kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. It is spacious and has an outdoor terrace with natural shade from the pergola and views of the pool.
Three other apartments are the same, with a twin room with two single beds for two people sharing, a single occupancy room with a double bed and an en-suite for each room. They also have a living/dining area and kitchen with an outdoor terrace and seating.
Finally, there is a maisonette apartment with two floors. On the ground floor, there is a twin room with two single beds for two people sharing and a bathroom. There is a spacious living/dining and kitchen area leading out to an outdoor terrace with natural shade. Upstairs you will find another bedroom for single occupancy, a bathroom and a lounge area.
Corfu is easily accessible from a number of UK airports and various airlines. The flight time is roughly 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Flights
Arrive at Corfu airport no later than 12:00, so you have time to clear customs and baggage reclaim. The shared transfer will depart at 13:00.
Depart from Corfu airport after 12:00. Our shared transfer will leave the venue at 9:00 to arrive back at the airport at 10:00. This will give you enough time for travel and check-in.
Transfers: The transfer to the venue is included in the price if you either catch the recommended flights or book flights with similar arrival and departure times so you can meet at the airport for the group transfer.
The transfer takes around 1 hour. If you can’t make the group free transfer we can help arrange a private transfer at an extra cost.
Sustainability
We are working towards reducing our carbon footprint, and here are some ways we, as a company, are doing this.
We are a 88% vegan company, 10% vegetarian and 2% fish or meat (only when staying in boutique hotels that offer these options). This makes up a huge percentage of carbon emissions that we avoid so easily because our food is still delicious, balanced and even more creative. So, thanks to you all for enjoying our healthy (mostly) plant-based meals.
The difference: Most travel companies struggle to reduce their travellers’ meat and dairy consumption, which accounts for a large portion of their carbon emissions.
We stay primarily in one location for the duration of the retreat. We have started staying in a few locations on our long haul, but it is limited to 2 or 3 locations over an 8 – 10 night period. Staying in one place means low carbon emissions because we aren’t burning fuel to get around.
The difference: Other adventure travel companies move around every two days, using alot of petrol in vehicles for sometimes only 1 or 2 people.
Our activities are low-impact—yoga, hiking, surfing, skiing/boarding, whitewater rafting, SUP, and kayaking are all very low-carbon activities, in fact, zero-carbon (except skiing/snowboarding due to the ski lifts, which is also low). These activities are included in the price we measure. The carbon may increase with travel to and from these activities in vehicles.
The difference: Other travel companies can include high-carbon activities in the price, such as jet skiing, quad biking, and jeep driving, which increases their carbon footprint.
We run more than half of our retreats and holidays in the UK; these are very low-carbon holidays.
We currently don’t measure our guests’ travel as part of our carbon output because our guests don’t only come from the UK, so it is hard for us to predict this. We also don’t include travel in the holiday price, which is not part of our calculations. We know that we provide these holidays, so we are looking to include this carbon measurement in the future so we are investigating how we can reduce this.
The carbon measurements at the top of the page with the icons are per person for the whole retreat.
Ultra-low-carbon holidays
These holidays are below 200 kg per person, and our UK retreats are below 100 or even 70 kg, so these are great adventures for low carbon breaks.
Ski holidays are actually low in carbon!
In France, many ski resorts are turning to green energy to power the lifts. If you eat low in meat and dairy while you’re there and hire your ski equipment, this makes your trip as low-carbon as possible.
How can you help?
There are ways that you can help reduce your carbon when coming on our retreats and holidays:
Travel by train, try slow travel across Europe and the UK.
If travelling abroad to Europe or further afield, choose carbon capture schemes, check out Ecologi. Offsetting is not the best thing to do these days, but try carbon capture where you pay for carbon to be absorbed into the environment.
Car share UK – we recommend when guests travel by train to arrive and depart at the same time to taxi share – which helps keep costs and carbon emissions down. Why not consider car share, too? Most guests who drive come alone or with a friend; we have WhatsApp groups that, if you like, you can see who is driving from your area and enjoy getting to know each other on the way to the retreats, and save on your carbon emissions at the same time!
We are by no means saints when it comes to producing carbon, as a travel company we know this is very difficult to reduce. We are working to reduce our carbon output each year by measuring it and then creating plans to reduce it. We are reviewing all our venues and asking them how they can improve their carbon reduction as we don’t own any of our venues but we would like to work with them to help in any way we can. We want to be transparent with this, so please get in touch for more information. As we change things, we will update the website.
