Raised in the UK, Harriet started her yoga journey very young taking classes at her local studio in Leeds. Dipping in and out of yoga for many years her dedicated practice began when she moved to London. Feeling overwhelmed with her new life in the big smoke she took up yoga to find calm and space amongst the chaos. After struggling with her mental health she finally decided to leave London in search of a better balance and found herself moving to the desert in search of yoga, sunshine, people and happiness.
In Qatar, Harriet completed her 200hr YTT in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga and has since gone on to teach and study in Bali, London, India, Sri Lanka and the Middle East. Harriet teaches a variety of styles including, yin, restorative, vinyasa, ashtanga and kids yoga, but her self practice is dedicated to Slow Flows and her teaching reflects this – moving with mindful purpose, compassion and intention each day. Harriet’s classes are a gentle blend of meditation, breathwork and purposeful movement that cultivate a strong mind-body connection and leave you feeling calm and peaceful. Harriet’s passion is to share a movement that brings people back to the simple joy of living and she believes strongly that yoga is for everybody. Her flows are designed to cultivate awareness and teach you how to honour and nurture how you feel each day to support your mental wellbeing. When not teaching yoga you can find Harriet napping with her cats, planning her next adventure or dancing in fields with glitter on her face.
