Join us this August for our three-night mid-week summer Peak District retreat at a stunning new venue in the Derbyshire Dales, Hope Valley area.  With views across the valleys of the Peak District, you will leave feeling like you have had a full escape away.

Our modern home for the Peak District retreat has all the cosy comforts you could ever need. Plush sofas, outdoor seating, a firepit to stargaze and amazing views from every window of which there are a lot of. Perfect to curl up with a book, relax in the sun or chat with your new retreat friends.

Mid-week special 4 nights for the price of 3!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: With the latest developments in the pandemic and lateral flow tests being available to everyone, we have decided to ask that everyone take 2 lateral flow tests prior to coming on retreat in the UK, so that if it comes back positive you have time to get a PCR test to confirm a positive test result. We ask for a negative PCR test for foreign holidays. That way we can attempt to create covid free retreats.

We take Coronavirus seriously on our Peak District Retreat. We have reduced numbers to 12 to allow for social distancing and we have safety measures in place for your wellbeing. At our Peak District Retreat, a twin/double room is for two people sharing either two single beds or a double bed.

About the yoga

On our August Peak District retreat, the classes are suitable for all abilities. From beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. Our inspiring and experienced teachers are well-practised at adapting the class to everyone’s level.

Depending on government guidelines, the classes will either be 2 hours each for the whole group, or there will be two staggered yoga classes for each yoga session scheduled to accommodate the group in order to follow the guidelines of social distancing.  The yoga teacher will create a more dynamic class in the morning to get you ready for the day’s hike and the evening class will be slightly longer to enable deep relaxation with yoga Nidra.

About the food

All of our retreat chefs are highly experienced and passionate about their craft. We have always been a vegan/vegetarian company! Expect delicious and creative brunch, lunch, and 2-course evening meal. Each meal will be balanced to keep you energised all day.

We are working to offer organic, local food where possible, composting all leftovers and reducing single-use plastic.

With a flare for the colourful, Nafias culinary creations are as beautiful as they are absolutely delicious! Nutritionally balanced, plant-based and from the heart you will leave each meal feeling satisfied in every way.

Suitability

This August Peak District retreat is suitable for anyone who'd like a relaxing staycation in the UK to refresh and revive after the crazy time of lockdown that we have been in. Yoga to relax, healthy food to cleanse, time out to rebalance. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages. The hikes are suitable for all levels with the times varying for 2 to 3.5hrs each time.

Beautiful Peak District

There is a real raw and wild feel to the Peak District. Covering over 550 square miles, the National Park boasts an array of landscapes, habitats, and environments for you to explore! Vast, open landscapes are broken up by deep valleys and quaint villages with its many wide rivers and streams creating the perfect place for a wild swim to just to dip your toes! All of this, and only a three-hour train journey from Central London!

You can choose to be as active or relaxed as you like on this yoga retreat! Enjoy the free guided hikes and then enjoy the grounds of the retreat to relax in and take in the stunning view! If you fancy spending the day curled up in front of the fire with a book and tea, feel free!

Itinerary

On our August Peak District retreat, guests are advised to arrive between 4 pm and 5.30 pm. This allows time to settle in before the first yoga class at 6 pm. Dinner will be served at 8.00 pm.

The retreat will end at 9.30am after a power hour yoga class and brunch.
