New! for 2021 - A week of relaxation in classic Moroccan Berber style accommodation with the beating heart of Marrakech and the Atlas mountains a stone's throw away.
This November, come and stay with us for a week on our autumn yoga holiday Marrakech, Morocco. With temperatures reaching 23 degrees and clear sunny days it is a perfect break away from the colder darker days of the Northern hemisphere.
Only a 20-minute drive into the heart of the old city of Marrakech and the souks, spend a day exploring and shopping here (for your Xmas presents maybe?!) or relax at our authentically designed and furnished Berber retreat hotel. A spacious hotel with two yoga spaces, two pools, plenty of outdoor lounging space and Moroccan courtyards, with bougainvillaea, romantically spilling over from private balconies, you can spend the day here unwinding from your busy day to day life, surrounded by views of the Atlas mountains.
There are plenty of other activities to do if you wish to be more active and adventurous; take a day trip to the stunning blue and white city of Essouira – where Jimi Hendrix wrote the song purple haze, or take a day trip to the Atlas Mountains and visit Berber villages or experience the desert.
Whatever it is you decide to do, there are 3 hours of yoga a day in the outdoor yoga Shala to re-energise and revitalise throughout the week.
Enjoy three meals a day and fabulous massage and other treatments in the spa area, with Hammam and hot tub. Float back to your room or relax by the pool or in one of the many courtyards. It is your holiday so be as active or relaxed as you like.

Morning yoga on your autumn yoga holiday in Marrakech: wake up early to see the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains in the distance in our outdoor yoga shala. The practice will begin as a gentle awakening, building up to more dynamic poses – slowly building so that over the 6 days of yoga asana you find your body opening up to new depths in poses you’d never imagined; that you can settle in meditation quicker than before, that silence is something to be cherished. Feel energised and refreshed and ready for your day in the sun.
Evening yoga on your autumn yoga holiday Marrakech: Arrive at our fully equipped yoga shala for sunset yoga. Settle into a more restorative practice, to begin with, and once the deep rest has been satisfied with yoga Nidra and restorative poses, find more playful partner yoga being welcomed.
We have an indoor yoga space that is well ventilated and allows for social distancing also.

Men & Women
We have two locations in Morocco for your adventurous spirit; one is the High Atlas Mountains for the hiker in you and the other is the more cultural and relaxing (well staying at the venue is relaxing!) area of Marrakech. Read more below to find out more about both destinations.
The joy of the Marrakech region lies in its diversity. You’ll revel in the colourful rush of the city souks, be inspired by the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, and moved by the gentle and warm hospitality of the Berber people.
Here is an area influenced by east and west, by Africa and Europe. Marrakech is two pulsating cities in one – where modern culture sits just the other side of 11th Century walls. And all this endearing commotion is surrounded by quiet Berber villages.
If you exhaust the city’s fountains, palaces, and mosques, head south to the Atlas Mountains. Here, snow-capped summits perch high above wild river bases, protecting Marrakech from the searing climatic extremities of the Sahara Desert.
In the Atlas Mountains you will head to our venue, the Kasbah. It is based in the Toubkal National Park and set dramatically below the towering flanks of Jbel Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa standing at 4167 metres. Imlil, and its surrounding valleys, is a world apart from the bustle of the city and a place of peace and seclusion. The Kasbah is situated at 1820m and is just 60 km from Marrakech.
On the 20th of November, you can arrive at your leisure. The transfer is only 30 minutes from Marrakech airport. After you’ve checked in relax by the pool and we will have a yoga class for those who have arrived at 5-6 pm and then dinner will be from 7 pm.
Departure day on the 27th November is again flexible. Check out is 2 pm but if your flight is later, relax at the pool and shower in the guest departure room prior to your flight.
