Booking a Retreat Right Now? Here’s What You Need to Know
Travel feels a little uncertain at the moment. Jet fuel supply disruptions have been causing flight cancellations across Europe, and we understand that for a lot of people, that uncertainty is a real barrier to booking.
Your wellbeing isn’t something that can go on hold, so we’ve put some things in place to make sure it doesn’t have to be.
Here’s what we’ve introduced.
Book with Confidence Scheme
If your flight is cancelled as a direct result of a fuel supply disruption, you won’t lose your retreat.
Under our Book with Confidence scheme, if you’ve made reasonable attempts to rebook or reroute your travel with your airline and haven’t been able to, you can either transfer your booking to an alternative Adventure Yogi retreat of equivalent value, or receive the full booking value as an Adventure Yogi gift card, valid for 12 months.
This scheme applies to all confirmed bookings affected by flight cancellations occurring on or before 1 October 2026 – including any retreat booked before that date with a start date after it.
What you’ll need to submit a claim:
- Your original flight booking confirmation
- Official flight cancellation notification from your airline
- Evidence that rebooking was attempted and unsuccessful
- A copy of the photo page of the passport used to make the booking
Claims must be submitted within 14 days of your original departure date. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Book with Confidence Claim – [Your Booking Reference]” and we’ll aim to process your claim within 10 working days.

Flexi-Booking Add-On
For those who want additional flexibility regardless of the reason, we’ve also introduced a Flexi-Booking add-on for UK and Europe retreats.
For £147 per person, added at the time of booking, you get a one-time transfer of your booking to an alternative Adventure Yogi retreat, subject to availability. You just need to let us know in writing at least 8 weeks before your original retreat start date.
A few things worth knowing:
- The transfer can be to a retreat of equal or lesser value. If the alternative retreat is of greater value, you’ll pay the difference.
- The £147 fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.
- Flexi-Booking is a change-of-date facility – it doesn’t cover cancellation and isn’t a substitute for travel insurance.
- It must be added at the time of booking and can’t be added retrospectively.
To request a transfer, email [email protected] with your booking reference and preferred alternative retreat dates. We’ll confirm within 5 working days.

Spreading the Cost
We’ve also added Klarna to our checkout, so you can spread the cost of your retreat into manageable instalments if you’d prefer not to pay everything upfront. You’ll find this option – alongside our own instalment plan – at the point of booking.
A Few Other Things Worth Doing
Whilst we’ve put these measures in place to protect your booking, much of the current situation is outside anyone’s control. A few sensible steps in the meantime:
• Make sure you have comprehensive travel insurance in place as soon as possible after booking
• Keep an eye on any communications from your airline
