Sara Gracia
Sara’s journey is a harmonious blend of creativity, tradition, and mindfulness. Growing up in a culturally rich family—her mother, a pianist and pedagogue; her father, a handball coach featured in TV; and her grandmother, a spiritual matriarch—Sara was steeped in music, dance, and the arts from an early age. A former member of a platinum-winning youth group and a Communication Design graduate, her artistic flair found its ultimate expression in Yôga. This pursuit blended her intellectual, philosophical, artistic, and physical passions, leading her to graduate in the DeRose Method and open her own Yôga school in Cascais, specialised in Yôga Retreats. Though her early music career spanned cinema and TV soundtracks, it was through mantra that Sara discovered her true musical calling. Now, with 24 years of Yôga teaching and the album FLOW produced by three-time Academy Award winner Armando Teixeira, Sara’s work merges ancient Dravidian teachings with contemporary practice. Her mantra concerts—immersive journeys of sound and self-discovery—invite audiences to embrace life authentically, flaws and all, aligning with the infinite through chant, breath, and movement.
Sara is the founder and owner of Cascais Meditation Club – DeRose Method, a 14 years old school and community, and leads retreats all over the world focused on mantra, meditation, and movement, inspiring others to live with joy and authenticity.
