We are excited to be able to offer you a high season summer Lake District yoga retreat as it is a stunning time to be in this awe-inspiring landscape.
Start your day with an energising yoga class in our beautiful yoga shala followed by one of our favourite breakfasts on our retreats!
After the springtime flowers, feel the buzz of high summer in this stunning part of the UK. Explore with a whole day guided hike with qualified guides and the next day it is your choice to enjoy another walk to Tarn Howes (Beatrice Potters favourites lakes), enjoy another more challenging hike or do some sightseeing and visit nearby Lake Windermere or Ambleside
After a day’s excursions, unwind with evening yin and restorative yoga and yoga Nidra followed by a vegan and vegetarian feast.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: With the latest developments in the pandemic and lateral flow tests being available to everyone, we have decided to ask that everyone take 2 lateral flow tests prior to coming on retreat in the UK, so that if it comes back positive you have time to get a PCR test to confirm a positive test result. We ask for a negative PCR test for foreign holidays. That way we can attempt to create covid free retreats.
We take Coronavirus seriously. We have two groups of 9 for yoga to allow for social distancing and we have safety measures in place for your wellbeing. Please see our COVID hub where you can find out exactly what our safety measures, financial protection, flexible booking and planet promises are.
A twin/double room is for two people sharing either two single beds or a double bed.
Our classes for our Lake District retreat are really special, with natural light coming into the purpose-built, high ceiling yoga shala overlooking the mountains.
On this Lake District retreat, there are two teachers and you will be split into two groups for yoga. Each group will have 9 people to allow for social distancing so you can relax and enjoy the classes.
Each yoga class is designed in response to the energetic needs of the group, and this is reflected in the overall pace and rhythm of your yoga retreat. We ensure that the level and dynamics of the yoga classes are in harmony with the participants, the time of the day and the activities enjoyed that day.

The food on this Lake District yoga retreat is catered to you by the venue. The venue owner is a vegan/vegetarian chef and they source organic and locally sourced ingredients. The breakfast is pre-ordered and is a choice of cereals or porridge, a choice of eggs and hot cooked breakfast, juice, coffee, tea and herbal teas.
Lunch is a packed lunch to take with you on your hikes each day.
Dinner is a 2-course dinner inspired by different countries, created by the chef and all diets are welcome please let us know beforehand.
This summer Lake District yoga retreat is suitable for those who love more dramatic countryside experience, love hiking or being active. If you have never been hiking before that's ok, but just bring suitable clothing and be prepared to be active! Men and women are welcome as well as solo travellers, couples, and friends.

From Beatrix Potter to Lake Windermere, sailing on the Lakes or hiking and climbing in the fells or just wandering around Ambleside there is something for everyone.
Your Lake District retreat starts at 4 pm on the first day and finishes at 12 pm on the last day.
As there are two groups, the yoga classes and breakfast will be staggered and the evening meal will be all together.

Friday guided hike with qualified mountain guides. Enjoy a packed lunch. Be ready for 12pm for departure at 12.15pm. Saturday enjoy a choice of optional activities; biking, climbing, horse riding, walking, or simply relax and enjoy your room
