Experience the stunning colours of the season on our autumn hiking yoga retreat in the awe-inspiring Lake District. Warm-up with yoga in the morning and a restorative evening yoga practice to restore.
Autumn is such a beautiful time to experience a hiking and yoga retreat in the Lake District. The colours are turning from a vibrant green to hues of red, orange and soft browns. It is one of our favourite times of the year to visit as the crowds are gone and it takes on a slower pace of life.
With our qualified and very experienced mountain guides on hand to lead the day hike, and your yoga teachers to lead a more gentle yet equally as stunning walk to Tarn Howes directly from our retreat centre, immerse yourself in nature and feel the benefits of this, being away from the frenetic and urban landscape of your day to day living. Take a packed lunch and just sit and watch the world go by, or enjoy a bit of forest bathing and meditation.
Start the day with an energising yoga class and after a day’s excursions, unwind with evening yin and yoga Nidra followed by a vegan and vegetarian feast.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: With the latest developments in the pandemic and lateral flow tests being available to everyone, we have decided to ask that everyone take 2 lateral flow tests prior to coming on retreat in the UK. If it comes back positive you have time to get a PCR test to confirm a positive test result. As things change we will change this policy and keep you updated.
We take Coronavirus seriously. We have two groups of 9 people for the yoga classes to allow for social distancing and we have safety measures in place for your wellbeing. A twin/double room is for two people sharing either two single beds or a double bed.
Our classes for our autumn hiking yoga retreat Lake District are really special, with natural light coming into the purpose-built, high ceiling yoga shala overlooking the mountains.
There will be two staggered yoga classes for each yoga session scheduled to accommodate the group in order to maintain social distancing. The yoga classes are split into two groups of 9 people and there is a yoga teacher for each group. There will be a more dynamic class in the morning to get you ready for the days hike and the evening class will be slightly longer to enable deep relaxation with yoga nidra.

This autumn hiking yoga retreat Lake District is suitable for those who love more dramatic countryside experience, love hiking or being active. If you have never been hiking before that's ok, but just bring suitable clothing and be prepared to be active! Men and women are welcome as well as solo travellers, couples, and friends.

Your hiking yoga retreat starts from 4pm and on the last day departure time is at 11am
The two full days of the retreat follow the daily schedule opposite.
