Corfu is known for its natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture. The Old Town of Corfu is known for its unique architecture, including Venetian, French and British influences. The island is surrounded by stunning sandy and pebbly beaches with crystal clear waters.

The vibrant culture is evident as there are many festivals held throughout the year, including Carnival of Corfu. Local specialities include pastitsada (a pasta dish) and sofrito (a veal dish), not to mention the excellent wine and beer.

The quickest way to get from Athens to Corfu is flying from Athens International Airport.

The Summer months bring average temperatures of 24 degrees and the evenings can be pleasantly warm so pack light and cool clothing.
