An update on travel disruptions in the Middle East
What’s happening in the Middle East right now is deeply unsettling, and our thoughts are with everyone in the areas affected living through this uncertainty. Here at AY we have all been watching it closely, and I know many of you have too, whether you’re planning on travelling or simply trying to make sense of the news.
We paused communication with you to see how things were unfolding, and now that things are clearer, I wanted to personally share our update with you.
Fortunately, we only run our Sri Lanka adventure in this part of the world, which hasn’t been affected, and all of our other retreats are held in Europe or the UK for the rest of the year. This means all our retreats are safe and will run as usual, with our amazing retreat teams looking after you every step of the way. We have reviewed every destination we operate in, and we are confident in that. Where there is any uncertainty around safety, we won’t run a retreat, inform you in enough time and offer options to you.
The safety of you, our wonderful guests, is of paramount importance, and so we are all working hard in HQ to continue to work with our retreat venues, suppliers and retreat teams to deliver spaces where you can relax and switch off and step away from this crazy world we are in right now, which is needed now more than ever.
To make it a bit easier for you, we have made some small but hopefully impactful changes, which include reducing our deposit amount to 30% from 40% to give you more flexibility.
We will always inform you of any changes to retreats, but for now, I hope this helps reassure your booking experience with us, and we can’t wait to welcome you on one of our adventures very soon!
Lots of love,
Michelle King
