The HQ Team

There is a lot that happens behind the scenes before any retreat or holiday starts. The Adventure Yogi HQ as we like to call it is a busy hub of excited activity to make these retreats as special as we can for you. And here are the fabulous team that make these things happen. Meet the team.

Michelle King

Michelle King

Founder and Managing Director

Michelle has always had a love of nature, travel and wellness since a young age and how the connection between all three is the best tonic for mental and physical well-being. Travel is in her blood as she grew up in Venezuela and Kenya and then spent her twenties living in the French Alps, Sardinia, The Dolomites and Japan. Having been a lifelong veggie and practising yoga since she was 17, AdventureYogi is the combination of all of her favourite things.

Michelle is the director of AY and spends her time working on business development, planning and creating new holidays and getting creative with marketing. Most recently, she has been working with a carbon measuring company to work on AdventureYogi’s sustainability ethos and making sure we are putting people and the planet as a priority. She also joins on retreats and you may even catch her on the phone!

Claire Yates

Claire Yates

Events Manager
Claire has an extensive background in running retreats, retreat centres and a lifetime of yoga experience that has taken her all over the world. Claire joined the AY family in 2023, she now ensures that every retreat unfolds with the perfect flow.

Asia Bartlett

People Operations Manager

Asia keeps people at the center of everything she does. She joined Adventure Yogi in April 2024 as People Operations Manager, balancing big-picture projects with quiet one-to-one chats. She takes a holistic approach to growth, is highly active, and was once a bench pressing champion.

Tea Lewis

Marketing Manager

Behind every newsletter is Tea, who joined the AY family last summer and has been quietly making her mark ever since, through thoughtful content and a very serious dedication to finding the perfect cup of matcha.

Katy Richardson

Product Executive

Katy helps shape and evolve Adventure Yogi’s retreat offerings, ensuring AY continues to develop in ways that truly serve its community. She has travelled solo to 15 countries and, outside work, is happiest crafting ceramics and tree hugging.

Mia Faulkner

Social and Content Executive

Mia shapes the stories and moments Adventure Yogi shares with its community. When she’s not crafting scroll-stopping posts or capturing retreats, she can be found crocheting colourful clothes

Kat Abel

Bookings and Events Coordinator

Kat is the calm, smiley organiser behind our UK retreats and our Inbox. She ensures seamless logistics from the moment you enquire. Yoga grounds her, but music keeps her humming through the day.
