Join us this May bank holiday for a long weekend of wellness and yoga in Norfolk at our stunning eco-retreat centre. Enjoy beautifully landscaped gardens, a Japanese garden and a swimming lake.
Early May is the perfect time to enjoy our wellness yoga retreat in Norfolk. The sun and warmth of spring have arrived and have given the grounds of this stunning venue time to flourish so that it radiates colours of lush green, sparkling blue from the lake, and reds, oranges and purples of the wildflowers throughout.
We love it here and have been running our yoga retreats here for 15 years! As an eco-retreat centre, everything has been built with sustainability at the heart of everything they do. There is a swimming lake where you can row boats, a newly developed meandering garden with paths, a Japanese garden and fire pits to stargaze in the evenings. There is also a heated outdoor pool. Find a connection to nature in the expansive grounds and find a connection with new people, and reconnect to you.
It is a magical retreat centre that has grown over the years with the environment and human connection at the centre of what they do. It’s not just a retreat venue, it’s a whole well-being experience.
Enjoy a guided walk to Castle Acre and the next day take a day trip to Holkham beach if you came by car.

The yoga retreat starts from 4pm on Friday so that you can settle in and relax before the yoga class that starts at 6pm – 8pm and then dinner. Arrive when you can on Friday.
We finish at 11am on Monday after the usual morning schedule and breakfast.

Over the 17 years that AY has been organising our bespoke retreats, we have always made sure that we work with exceptional yoga teachers who are dedicated to their practice and live and breathe yoga, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that you will be inspired, relaxed and tensions dissolved by the end of your retreat with us.
About the yoga
Morning yoga: During your wellness yoga retreat in Norfolk, you will be treated to 2 x 2 hour classes a day. Enjoy an energising flow class in the morning to increase flexibility and strength while making you feel relaxed, leaving plenty of time for meditation and savasana. Get what you need from each class by going inward and really listening to your inner voice and wisdom so that you can nourish and revive in the individual way that you need.
Evening yoga: The evening yoga class will be more restorative finding yourself in longer holds, allowing the body to open up in its own time. Feel grounded, calm and nourished from the evening practice.
Yoga will be practices outside weather permitting.
