Join us for a mid-week winter yoga and coastal walking retreat in beautiful Cornwall. This intimate retreat, with a maximum of 9 guests, is the ideal way to spend a 4 night mid-week break.

Situated a stone’s throw from the beach with sea views from the yoga space, indulge in 4 hours of yoga a day and be guided along the coastal paths and explore fishing villages and be in awe of stunning sunsets right from your yoga studio!

As the winter sets in, this retreat will set you up with the perfect balance of well-being and adventure to get you through.

With a super modern but homely feel, our Cornwall base is only a 5-minute walk to the beach and the beautiful coastal path is right on the doorstep. There is so much to explore!

On offer is a guided walk along the coastal paths and an afternoon workshop on Ayurveda and easing into winter. The final afternoon is your choice of activities from surfing, SUP, walking or visiting other tourist destinations. It’s up to you how much you join in with group activities, it’s your break and you are welcome to do as much or as little as you like.

There is a mix of single occupancy and twin rooms available.

Amy Williams

Amy’s style of teaching comes from a place of nurturing. She wants you to feel free to explore the capabilities of your own body, respect your boundaries and learn how to heal and protect it. By blending strong, grounded hatha practises with the freedom found in Scaravelli and vinyasa she believes that each practise can help create the perfect balance between flexibility and stability in both body and mind.

About the yoga

On our mid-week yoga retreat in Cornwall this November, the classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. We have a range of inspiring and experienced teachers who are well practised at adapting the class for everyone’s level.

This retreat will be all about transitioning into the winter months. Our yoga practises will be strong but nourishing with plenty of time to explore both movement and breath. A blend of grounding Hatha and blissful restorative practise on each day will leave you feeling refreshed.

On one day there will also be a workshop on looking into how Ayurvedically we can transition into the winter with ease both in our yoga practice as well as lifestyle choices.

Our yoga classes take place in the large, first-floor living space providing us with a stunning view out to sea. If the weather allows, we will hopefully take a morning practice down to the beach!

About the food

We are a plant-based company and take great pride in creating incredible food on our retreats! Our chefs create diverse and imaginative menus that really highlight the seasonality of local produce. We are able to cater to all dietary requirements.

On our winter Cornwall retreat you can expect warming, nourishing post-yoga brunch to fuel your day, a light lunch and a wholesome two-course evening meal.

Charlotte Hopson

Charlotte's motivation is to share her passion for seasonal, plant-based ingredients and encourages guests to use their time on retreat to reconnect with their relationship to food. As a Pilates, Yoga teacher and Chef she believes that with a balanced approach to exercise, eating well, and making more mindful choices about how and what we consume, we can live a more nurturing, self-supporting and planet-friendly lifestyle.

Choose from surfing at beautiful Mawgan Porth, SUP-ping in Padstow or exploring the coastal paths! Of course, you could just sit back and relax and watch it all unfold around you instead!

There is plenty to see and do in Cornwall, or you can just relax at our gorgeous venue, walking distance to the beach and with direct access to the South West Coastal Path.

Itinerary

The retreat will begin at 4 pm on the first day with our opening yoga class at 6 pm.

On the last day, checkout is at 10 am.

Our days will roll like our yoga classes do, a slow flow blend of movement and relaxation that makes the most of the stunning location we are in.

Coastal path walks and surfing is all within walking distance and SUP-ing is also available locally. You can make your time with us as adventurous or relaxing as you wish.
